Respect is something that you can't see
Respect is something that you can give to me
And I give back to you
Respect can be as little as apologizing for stepping on someone's shoe
Or even saying thank you
But respect can be even simpler
From calling women queens and not "b"s
By respecting other people's choices that you don't condone
And if you can't do that, just leave them alone
Because the disrespect re-run does not need to be repeated
But succeeded
So we can sit down today with Jews, people whose hair has unnatural hues,
men who wear tutus, or even people who eat tofu!
We can sit down together
pray together
and live together in peace
By just using a seven-letter word
